|
|
I had to download BBViewer again since I have a new laptop this year. For the life of me I cannot remember how to open more than one feed/window at the same time. I vaguely remember just clicking on *something* to open a second/third/fourth window but I don't remember what it was.
Thanks if anyone can help out with this...the clock is counting down quickly! |

Jackson that I don't know anything about. Someone more computer savy than I am is going to have to come along for that question.
I've never tried to use a laptop...i had hoped to get one before this season of BB, but delayed too long...Would not get comfortable with a new type of cp and I want nothing to hinder my LF watching...
Good Luck...Surely someone will come along with that knowledge... |

Conpany is gone and I have nothing better to do...so
I found this:
You need to click on one of the camera numbers at the bottom of the window. That will open up that camera feed _________________ AABB

AND....
Here is the ReadMe file that comes with the installation
Keyboard Controls:
F1 - Switch to feed 1
F2 - Switch to feed 2
F3 - Switch to feed 3
F4 - Switch to feed 4
F5 - Switch to quad feed
F6 - Switch to House Calls (if currently on air)
Esc - Exit fullscreen mode
Spacebar - Take screen capture
Mouse Controls (General):
MiddleClick - Switch to Quad feed
Shift + LeftClick - Open new window (while not playing quad feed)
Mouse Controls (Quad Feed):
LeftClick - Switch to feed clicked on (1-4)
Shift+LeftClick - Open new window with feed clicked on (1-4)
Command Line Arguments:
-F1 to -F5 Will automatically start to play the feed specified. (-F5 is QuadCam)
-FHC Will automatically try to open House Calls
-C Will center the player (ignoring previously saved position)
Options:
Snap Windows:
To easily align multiple players, this option will align the current player while it is being moved/resized to other players that are open if near another player's extended edge lines.
Save Window Position/Size:
When any player is moved or resized a new player will open in the same location on the screen. When using multiple players the saved player location will likely be the last active player.
Center Launched Players:
When using mouse controls to launch multiple players from another player this option will center the newly created player on the screen. This will ignore the saved window position option when launching a new player from another player preventing it from overlapping at the same location (unless launched from centered position).
Screen Capture (spacebar):
Video Card Capatibility must not have overlays enabled to be able to take screen captures.
This can be set in RealPlayer's optimization preferences on the 'Hardware' options pane.
You can edit RealPlayer's preferences by clicking on the blue RealPlayer icon.
You will need to restart playback for these changes to be applied.
For recording video streams as video files or audio, consider using another application such as RealTV. This application does not record video or audio streams.
To stop a timed capture, click on the timed capture icon again.
Location:
The directory or folder to save captures in
Filename:
The filename for captures. Click "?" to see a list of available values that can be used in a Filename. A preview of the filename will be displayed using the current time and counter options.
Timer Delay:
The delay between timed captures (1000 = 1 second)
Counter:
A counter that increases each capture. If running multiple players at once, all players effect the single counter
Pad: To pad the counter with extra 0's set this to the minimum number of digits the counter should use.
Sound Effect: Check this to have a quiet sound will play when capture is taken.
Feed URLs:
If you need to change the URLs, you can do so here. The currently selected 56/150/256 speed is inserted into the URLs by replacing '[SPEED]' in any URL being played by either 56, 150 or 256. Click "Defaults" to use default URLs at the current time BB Viewer was released.
Known Issues:
- Right clicking will still bring up the player's context menu if launching a new player.
- Fullscreen does not work on multiple monitors and will go fullscreen on the primary monitor only.
- Avoid changing settings while using multiple players. Each player will revert changes made by other players which can become unpredictable.
- Avoid using multiple versions. You will be aware of this after upgrade notices each time you run a different version. Different versions will overwrite settings with defaults. _________________ AABB

Thank you all for the help. I did figure it out - shift and left mouse button click....doh!....it says that right there in the read me file. I guess that's why it's called a "read me" file. |

| Just as an aside - how are Reloader and Viewer different? I've not tried the Reloader yet since I've been using Viewer. |

I don't know. I haven't used reloader. I've always been happy with
RealPlayer. I think I might like the BBViewer though...lol except for the Jokers link at the bottom. _________________ AABB

Thanks, Nancy.
Though, I am not certain of what to do when we need to chat. Have both running?
I even set up a short-cut. It does look promising. _________________
