I was, but I'm home now, and I've been for a walk -- a great way to clear your head at the end of a long day.

I have Showtime but never watched the BB After Dark. I did sometimes have my feeds on. Honestly though the last BB was such a disappointment to me I rarely at the end even bothered watching the feeds. I hope BB9 is a better season (fingers and toes crossed).

I agree with you Lori, during BB6 (first year we had the feeds) and BB7 I watched all the time. BB8 not so much. Fingers and toes crossed here to Very Happy

Isn't it though? I love walking outside. This morning when I was walking I saw three deer on the way out and 4 on the way back in. I will never get used to these mountains and the forest here. Who would have thought, in New Jersey? I just wonder if the hill we live on will ever getting easier to walk up. I keep telling the kids that, but I wonder if it's true.

If you're lucky enough to live where there's mountains, don't ever move unless you just have to...

I live right "in town," as opposed to out in the country, and I'll often go for a walk about 5:00 in the morning. One morning I happened to run into two small deer (babies?) standing right along the road, watching me. I don't know who was more startled . . . me or them. You NEVER see deer in town, around here. It made me wonder where their mom was and if they were on their own, looking for food.

On topic: I used to watch the After Dark ShowtimeToo but only as filler noise. It could get so boring at times but nice to have on while doing other things on the computer.

Off topic: I love long walks in a woodsy atmosphere and to witness wildlife up that close is so awesome. Have you ever noticed that raccoons are gutsy little creatures? Laughing Laughing

YES!! We have to keep our garbage cans in the garage because they make an awful mess rummaging through them. Shocked

A family of racoons chewed a hole in our neighbor's roof and took up residence in their attic! Shocked

Another neighbor caught a family of racoons bathing in their swimming pool! Shocked

They have no fear of us humans! Shocked

First my heart goes out to those two young deer you saw... I so hope mommy is okay.

Now Frances filler noise I cannot comment on (staying on topic) I didn't have it. Howeve those raccoons are very gutsy Shocked and not only that very clever! Our home backs onto a forest and we feed whoever is hungry back there. One night we had a whole family enjoying the pizza we didn't want. They were very cute and very gracious Laughing They were very comfortable allowing us to watch as mom, dad and babies ate their dinner then disappeared into the forest. I know they can be a real annoyance, this was a really cute experience Very Happy Very Happy What can I say I love animials, all of them

I love watching animals too, Sydney. Squirrels are really fun. Christmas Eve we all went looking at lights and we saw a wild coyote. Poor thing was so thin but not deathly thin, if you know what I mean. Oh and we have lots of bunnies in our neighborhood. Every morning you can see them hopping around the front lawn.

I'm starting to sound like a Disney movie, aren't I? Embarassed Laughing
