There are a lot of great tv shows that get canceled before they should or before they get a proper ending. I've always heard good things about Once and Again. I finally got a chance to check it out, and i've really been enjoying it.

It's about two divorcees who fall in love and the meshing of the two families and interactions with their ex's. Sela Ward is the main character. Shane West, Evan Rachel Wood, and the other two young actors who play the kids are really great in the series. If anyone wants to check it out:

I would have liked to have seen where the characters went. Sad

My favorite shows from last year, What About Brian and Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. At least Barry Watson (yum) is now on the new show Samantha Who?

Actually, I think it's because i had to resize it so much. I will look for a better one.

ATM, i watched a few episodes of What About Brian, but i didn't stick with it.

I have been meaning to recommend a few more for a while...

Freaks and Geeks. I had watched the this again online not too longer ago, you can watch it on Veoh TV. This may be for a younger viewer, because it's really based solely on high school students. But i really love it. It's funny and incorporates music in a really cool way.

Firefly. It's a show from Joss Whedon, so if you sci fi and his always interesting characters, you will probably like this show. It only had one season, but a few years later had a movie made about it, Serenity. Here is the pilot:

NP, I wanted to thank you for the Once and Again link. (Sorry so late)! I watched all 3 seasons!! And I remembered why I absolutely LOVED this show! I don't think these actors were given the praise they deserved. I don't remember any of them winning an award. Does anyone know what Billy Campbell is up to these days and the actress who played Grace? What talent!!

Thanks for the new link, NP. I didn't realize that the show and actors won so many awards. They certainly deserved them, IMO. I was disappointed to see that Susanna Thompson (Karen) didn't win any awards. Her scenes were brilliantly portrayed. They really tackled some hard real life issues, didn't they?
