Secret Fan's Peanut Brittle Recipe

1 cup peanuts - unsalted (important)
1/2 cup white sugar
1 Tablespoon corn syrup
1/3 cup butter

Place foil on cookie sheet.
Put all ingredients in pot - heat on medium
Stir CONTINUALLY until candy turns golden brown.
(once you see the colour change after a few minutes, do not continue to heat, so peanuts don't burn)
Pour immediately on to foil on cookie sheet.
Place in fridge for 10 minutes.
Remove from fridge and peel off foil.
With paper towel wipe off any excess butter on back of the candy. When ready to eat or serve (which is always right away for me lol) break the one large piece into pieces the size desired. (do not double recipe but make in batches)

This was the recipe that was posted by Doll Friend last year on TVCH only she called it "DOLL FRIEND'S SECRET FAMILY RECIPE "DOLLICIOUS" PEANUT BRITTLE ". So is Doll Friend a secret fan? If so, what is she a secret fan of? LOL Wink I made it this Christmas and it's great! She posted it on Will's site as well. Word for word!

Lips, you little stinker you, you'd better be careful dragging up 5 week old receipes...Some will once again think you are Dollfriend incognito. Wink Laughing Laughing
Merry Christmas Lips.. Very Happy

Oh, hoho ho ho ho, I can tell you for certain that I'm not Doll Friend, and I can tell that what you're really, really after is a cookie recipe and I am here to oblige! Wink

And Merry Christmas to you too and God Bless! Smile

Angel Cookies

2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour, sifted
4 cups powdered sugar
2 1/4 teaspoons salt
3 cups shortening
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 (2 cup) package mini chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350.
In a large mixing bowl, sift together flour, powdered sugar and salt.
Add shortening, vanilla and chocolate chips and mix on low speed until just blended.
On floured counter top, roll dough into 1-inch cylinders.
Refrigerate dough for at least 30 minute or until firm enough to slice.
Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
Remove dough from refrigerator and cut in 1/2 inch thick slices.
Place cookies on prepared cookie sheet and bake for about 10 minutes.
Remove from oven and cool on wire rack. Yummy!!!!
