Secret Fan's Peanut Brittle Recipe

1 cup peanuts - unsalted (important)
1/2 cup white sugar
1 Tablespoon corn syrup
1/3 cup butter

Place foil on cookie sheet.
Put all ingredients in pot - heat on medium
Stir CONTINUALLY until candy turns golden brown.
(once you see the colour change after a few minutes, do not continue to heat, so peanuts don't burn)
Pour immediately on to foil on cookie sheet.
Place in fridge for 10 minutes.
Remove from fridge and peel off foil.
With paper towel wipe off any excess butter on back of the candy. When ready to eat or serve (which is always right away for me lol) break the one large piece into pieces the size desired. (do not double recipe but make in batches)

This one sounds good and easy! Very Happy

I'm now convinced I'm the worlds most hopeless cook. Attempted to make the pumpkin dump cake and it didn't turn out right. Kind of soggy. Not sure what I did wrong. Oh well.

Sounds yummy, Mood! My friend makes this every Christmas, and we love it. Of course, my favorite is when she uses cashews instead of peanuts. Now, that's good eats!

I just made this and it is delicious!! This is coming from the one who managed to mess up the dump cake. Cooking is not one of my talents but this came out perfectly.
Thanks for the recipe. My family loves to joke about the reason my hubby is skinny is because I can't cook. I'm going to bring some of this next week to redeem myself a bit! Wink Laughing

This was the recipe that was posted by Doll Friend last year on TVCH only she called it "DOLL FRIEND'S SECRET FAMILY RECIPE "DOLLICIOUS" PEANUT BRITTLE ". So is Doll Friend a secret fan? If so, what is she a secret fan of? LOL Wink I made it this Christmas and it's great! She posted it on Will's site as well. Word for word!

Interesting. I guess only Dollfriend knows what she is a secret fan of! Wink Laughing Anyway I have yet to make this recipe (or one of the other peanut brittle recipes on this forum). Guess I'll wait until after the holidays when I have more time! Laughing
