I dont have a clue what they were saying I wasnt privy to the secret whispering prior to the chat or after the chat. Like you, I kept thinking something was wrong... b.c I couldnt figure out what Nick was responding too... I thought my computer was messing up & on some serious bigtime lag. He kept saying Foxys name & Carries... I was scrolling up & down the list looking for a Carrie... I guess it was one of the admins Taz was referring too. I wish I knew what was being said.

I dont get it, what does complaints and dirty jokes have to do with each other?

seems wierd to interupt a chat with dirty joke whispers.

Well, I finally got around to listening to Nick's latest chat today. For me, it only reconfirmed my suspicions that Nick was the one who dumped Dani. Mood's amazing myspace detective work inspired me to do some investigating myself. Smile

Maybe I'm overanalyzing but it seemed like Dani had been throwing out hints that she wanted to get back together. Awhile back she had a quote on one of her myspaces that said something like "I cry at night when I see u looking at me. Even if it's just the photograph u gave me." Sad

She recently posted pics of her wearing a t-shirt with PB&J on it and she had "Penny and Me" (the song Nick used to sing to her) playing on her myspace. Plus, I found it weird that she didn't chat for so long, then people were suggesting maybe she'd come back if they made a separate chat room for her, and then she came in and chatted that night and apparently changed her avatar to one of Nick kissing her. Hmmm... Her live journal entries seem to contain a lot of veiled references to Nick too, but maybe that's just the psych major in me.

I have to say, I'm a little surprised that Nick's already back in MN for at least a month and may not return to L.A. (especially since it was about -15 degrees near where his parents live today!) For those of you who were in the chat, did you get the impression that he's done with L.A.? In his previous chat, he said he was definitely planning to stay despite not being with Dani. I wonder, if the two of them haven't talked since Thanksgiving, was the new chat the first Dani heard about him leaving L.A.? I hope not. It's kind of sad and ironic...they broke up because they weren't spending enough time together, but now that Dani has her own place in the OC and they could actually see each other more, Nick is gone. Sad

Oh well, life goes on, and I am still hoping that Nick and Janelle will hook up (no, not THAT way!) over the holidays and have some fun. They seem to have a lot in common and I think they could end up being great friends. Wink

Jenga--What from the chat made you think Nick broke up with Dani? Dani did seem to express pain etc. on her Myspace, it is so weird, perhaps they were both too stubborn to call the other after a fight? Don't get it. I was in the chat, but very distracted by the chatters etc. My impression from the chat was that Dani doesn't and never did exist. That of course isn't the case.

I wouldn't say "running away" as more of "leaving a stagnant situation".
and if there is anything Nick is not scared of that is talking...
