About songs that one either loves or hates... how about Helen Reddy and "I Am Woman" (hear me roar)? It was a great song for its time, catching the mood of a female populace eager and ready to assert rights, but it was NOT a good song! |
I love that song!! Reminds me of hanging out with my gay guy friends in college. For some reason they loved that song along with Tammy Faye Baker's "We are Blessed" |
Are you serious Moody? Those 2 songs, huh? I guess at that time I can see it though. _________________ In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: it goes on...Robert Frost

Oooh, I love Helen Reddy's "Angie Baby".

You lost me SD. There shouldn't be a drip of egg on your beautiful face, what did I say. I was in college the eighties and ran around with a lot of gay guys just like Janelle does. At the gay bars, they used to play both those songs. I liked the "I am woman hear me roar" song, but the Tammy Faye Baker song we sang to be silly. |

That is the same darn thing I was saying except in fewer words so maybe not so clear? _________________ In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: it goes on...Robert Frost
