He said he'd like to do a segment on Dr. 90210 with him and Erin presenting the news to Brodie (faking it for television), but if John Brodie does get into the HOF, shouldn't Chris Chandler be the one in that scene on Dr. 90210 (if that scene should happen)? I believe everyone here has said if he gets in it will be on the merit of his record and most of us have admitted we do not know his career stats or how they measure up with other hopefuls. A lot of us are not pro football fans and we can't really speak pro or con about his chances of getting in. I hope whoever is deserving wins the honor. I am sure many are deserving but not all will attain this goal. I understand how and why Will would want to throw support to Erin's Dad. I am sure he likes and admires the man. I understand all the members of Erin's family are involved in the effort to give her Dad the realization of a dream. Her brother-inlaw probably is more heavily involved since he is a pro Football player himself. He swims in the same sea and I am sure Will is looking for a way he too can contribute. From recent articles shared, it appears John Brodie has a real shot at getting into the HOF. Should that occur, it will be a real testament to his career and that will be the deciding factor on his induction. IMO, comments have not been made here to try and discredit John Brodie in any way whatsoever. Many of us are totally unfamiliar with him. Our discussion has been about Will and has mostly been centered around the fact that Will seems to chat most when he needs or wants something from his fans. To some posters it seems a little odd and self-serving Will would want to 'cash in' on a personal achievement of John Brody (who by all accounts is not well) by having him appear on a segment of Dr. 90210 faking the news he has been awarded this great honor. From the cap of the chat presented here, it sounds to me like initially Erin was a little reluctant about this idea as well...then she stood by her man and seemed to 'go along' with the idea. I am sure if Mr. Brodie wins his spot, he along with his family will decide if he wishes to be on the show and the folks in charge of producing/directing Dr. 90210 will decide if they will feature it. I am sure Will would love for it to happen. As stated before, many members here (me included) like Will and wish him well. We are interested in what's going on with him. However, this is not a board that rubber stamps all his words and actions. If I understand this correctly, Will acknowledged that Chris Chandeler was behind the campaign to get JP in the HOF and the chatters at Will's understood that they were participating in something that was well underway? Lips? Angtown? My impression of the recap was that Erin said something about "Will's cute idea".
